OMD EM10 Mark ii so similar to classic OM1N and OM2N style!

 I'm just posting briefly about the Olympus OMD EM10 Mark ii and its similarity to the classic OM1N and OM2N style. True for the OMD cameras in general but more with the smaller EM10 and EM5 models that look lesslike a DSLR and mors like a classic film camera than the EM1 models with their action grips. Pictures to follow.

7 I had the great pleasure to see and photograph the Steve Hackett Genesis Revisited concert at De Montfort Hall Leicester 7 Oct 2022 for the Foxtrot at Fifty tour show. It was a special occasion in several ways, not only for me but because it was exactly 50 years and one day since the original Genesis album Foxtrot was released (6 October 1972) and also the venue where the subsequent Genesis Live album was recorded during the subsequent tour on 23 February 1973 (along with Fred Trade Hall Machester the following day). Steve mentioned in the show that the acoustic at De Montfort in Leicester was conducive to the symphonic nature of the music and sounds and he always liked the livecrecordings better than the studio originals for atmosphere. Olympus OMD camera user / fan site.

Hello and welcome to my OMD camera user site. This is just me with a modest Olympus OMD EM10 Mark II and three lenses. So far I have the twin zoom kit 14-42 EZ kit zoom, 40-150 kit zoom and Panasonic 25mm f/1.7. Some comparisons of the 14-42mm EZ kit pancake lens set to 25mm with the Panasonic 25mm f/1.7, with both lenses set to f/5.6. These are all 100% magnification on-screen crops from shots of about half a page of a document, right next to the closest focusing distance of the two lenses. First up the cruel comparison. I think the 14-42 (left) was right at its minimum focusing distance and perhaps I moved the camera slightly. Anyway, the 25mm f/1.7 looks a lot better but I may discount this comparison slightly in favour of the two below it. However, these were "first shots" so I am showing them here: Second, more shots (different ones).
